CUCUMBER FARM
This is is an independently run farming business, that farms cucumbers using an hydroponic system. There is 10 Tunnels that is joined in 3 houses. Produce is delivered to the Johannesburg Fresh Produce market, where it is then
sold. These cucumbers are grown in a hydroponic system all year round and harvested using the latest modern, state of the art technology of greenhouse planting and harvesting at its very best. Special care is taken in this process that yields profits of its precise procedures, from the harvesting and selling of its products that are a proudly South African heritage of the rich crops.
The fresh market is the main source of sale of the cucumbers.
BOILER
There is a 5000 KW boiler that heats the water for heating tunnels in winter. Cucumbers are
harvested every second day. There are JoJo tanks in place, supplying 20 000 litres of water, situated above the actual control centre. The boreholes are housed in separate buildings. All farming is naturally organic. Limited pesticides are used.
Solar Facility
There is a 30 KW SOLAX lithium-Ion system installed to enable the property to be off grid. The powerful solar energy system is designed for commercial use and is much bigger than a residential system. The weather does not affect the retention of heat, holding 30 kilowatts of power. They presently use very little power and are almost entirely off the grid. This is also included in the sale of the property.
Generator
The Property is equipped with a 50 KVA LOVOL generator. This is also included in the sale of the property.
Warehouse
A large warehouse of 2000 square metres under roof is divided into three
